Weight After 1 week off Diet

Due to travel and classes we ended up not being on the diet last week. We hope to start again tomorrow — let’s see how a week off diet affected our weight!

Her, 32.5%body fat, 122.0 lb, 49.8% water

Him, 22.5 %body fat, 184.4 lb, 57.4% water

Getting used to smaller portions definitely helped! Seems like at least we didn’t lose much ground while off diet (which is very hopeful)! Now to lose a bit more weight so our clothes fit better!

Cookie Diet Day 19, Evening

Her, 30.4%body fat, 124.2 lb, 50.9% water

Him, 26.3 %body fat, 185.6 lb, 53.8% water

I wasn’t hungry today – but wanted to eat for comfort.

Skipped the weekend as was out of town

Tried to eat sensibly over weekend – but not sure how well I did

Her 122.4 lbs 35.7% fat 48.1% water

He decided to skip doing the diet again until Thursday – so will only be seeing my results until he starts again

Cookie Diet Day 18, Morning

Forgot to weigh in last night. I did use exercise bike yesterday though!
Him, I have been away for a couple of days for a business trip and have been eating out with people. I have not been able to follow the diet very closely.

Her, 34.5% body fat, 120.8 lb, 48.9% water
Him, 23.4% body fat, 183.2 lb, 56.4% water

Cookie Diet Day 17, Morning

Slept in gloriously late. Haven’t been exercising. Hope to use the exercise bike today!

Her:  122.4 lbs    32.8% fat   49.6% water

Ways to combat hunger during dieting

I talked to the nice cookie diet advisor on the phone.  She recommended:

1) More water — you need at least a glass of water with each Cookie Diet cookie as it will then expand like a sponge.. keeping you full.   This seems like good advise for any diet — water is easy, free and good for you. 

2) Some extra protein during lunch time.   We’ll give it a try … not being hungry would be good! :)

3) She also recommended NOT eating even fat-free cheese during lunch as the lactose will encourage hunger. Recommended proteins were: tuna, turkey and chicken.

NOTE: I’ve been hungry on days I’ve been having frozen dinners — when I make my own – I’ve been fine.  I guess it is good incentive to cook from scratch too :)

Less hungry today.  Had homemade food rather than a frozen dinner.  Really helped.
